Thermaltrex

Thermaltrex is a fire retardant sleeping bag designed for camping and outdoor use. The sleeping bag is made from a 330gsm polar fleece textile that is permanently fire retardant, without chemical treatments or coatings. The fabric is machine washable, recyclable, colourfast and mildew resistant, and it also offers sun protection. Two units can be joined with reversible zips to form a double sleeping bag, and the foot end can be opened so the bag can be worn while walking. Storage is provided in a six litre dry bag with two handles.

Xiong Mao Wild Shell

Xiong Mao Wild Shell is an outdoor jacket designed for hiking and trail running. The jacket is made entirely from biobased materials. Its three fabric layers use a single material, so the jacket can be recycled without separating the layers. A microporous membrane and Dyneema fibers add wear resistance and breathability. Ultrasonic seam taping improves water resistance. Ergonomic modeling and seamless splicing keep the weight at 248 grams. The jacket folds into a sling bag for easy carrying.

Nomadic Inflatable

Nomadic Inflatable is a camping tent inspired by the traditional Kyrgyz yurt. The dome of a nomadic yurt symbolizes the starry universe, and this element is recreated at the top of the tent. Inflatable air columns form the supporting structure, and inflation is powered by an electric air pump. The tent can be set up by one person in a few minutes, which is faster than a traditional yurt. Once deflated, the tent can be stored in a car trunk. Transparent TPU, mesh fabric and cloth form multi-layered doors and windows, and reflective strips are added to the fabric.

Hot Wheels Monster Truck RC

Hot Wheels Monster Truck RC is a remote controller for toy vehicles. The controller is made for existing fans of radio control play and for users with a range of mobility and dexterity needs. A single large button activates the stunt feature. The directional controls are large and marked with clear arrows. The controller can be held in the hand, attached with a lanyard, or placed against a flat surface. Development followed human centered design methods, expert interviews and repeated testing with children.

Junk Paradise

Junk Paradise is a series of collectible figures based on animal characters and short stories. Each figure shows a character with a small imperfection that is turned into a playful strength. Popo the porcupine makes popcorn to cover his prickles so he can hug his friends. Sushi the pelican runs a whale watching cruise for river fish that fear the sea. The characters were modelled as digital sculptures, prototyped by resin printing and then cast in resin. Layered spray painting and hand painted details complete each piece.

Tenki

Tenki is a magnetic construction toy designed to teach children basic circuit knowledge. The set includes power generation modules, power consumption modules and structural connectors. Each module contains wires that are joined through magnetic connectors, so no wiring is exposed. Children assemble the modules freely and explore different ways of converting energy. In one combination, turning the handle of a hand-cranked generator supplies power to a buzzer and produces sound. The basic two-way connector measures 30 by 15 by 15 millimeters.
